SNP supporters deface Bank of England £10 notes with ‘Vote for Scottish Independence’ Westminster election message

As evidenced by the (attached) photograph, it appears that members and/or supporters of the SNP are de-facing Bank of England £10 notes by writing on the Queen’s face with ‘Vote for SNP/ Scottish Independence’ electioneering messages. Commenting on this, Mark R. Whittet, Leader of Scotland’s Independence Referendum Party and prospective British parliamentary candidate for the Edinburgh West seat in the UK general election on 8 June 2017, said: “Whilst Scotland’s Independence Referendum Party fully understands why members and/or sympathisers of the SNP appear to have chosen to spoil Bank of England £10 notes by writing election slogans supporting Scotland’s Independence

(Even though ‘now may not be the time’) Scotland still has the right to hold Scottish Independence vote when the Scot-government chooses

Commenting on the announcement today by Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to re-schedule a referendum on Scotland’s Independence until after the next Holyrood elections, Mark R Whittet, Leader of Scotland’s Independence Referendum party, said: “Even though ‘now may not be the time’ for Scotland’s Independence referendum, but Scotland – still – has the right to hold this vote when the Scot-government (and people) chooses. “The general election outcome – skewed by an unfair and anti-democratic first past the post voting system – does nothing to alter the Scot-Government’s right and democratically-achieved mandate to hold the next referendum on Scotland’s Independence.

Commenting today on the British general election result, and the following statement from the Electoral Reform Society, Mark R Whittet, Leader of Scotland’s Independence Referendum Party, said: “There is now a Coalition of EVEL (English Votes for English Laws) haunting the outcome of this Anglo-Scottish election. “Because of EVEL – rushed through in a fit of pique by the last Tory prime minister after the SNP tsunami with 56 seats in the 2015 election – none of the newly-elected British Unionist MPs in Labour, Tory or Liberal parties in Scottish seats will be able to vote on English health or

Scottish Tories, Labour, Lib Dems and Ukip all ignore parliamentary vote for #ScotRef   The parliament entered into this debate and vote on the basis of the Scottish elections in 2016, which saw the SNP win the most seats on a manifesto saying another referendum could be held on the basis of the UK

REAL NEWS: Scottish Independence website wins 480,000 unique visitors in May 2017 https://wingsoverscotland.com/not-too-shabby/#more-95600 … A spokesman for Scotland’s Independence Referendum Party commented: “Wings Over Scotland is where independently-minded people can get the ‘real news’ on Scottish politics rather than the fake news ‘newspapers’ and  ‘Mis-Reporting’ Scotland on BBC TV and radio. “And these visitor figures for Wings Over Scotland are the kind of viewing/ readership results that the London-based ‘mainstream’ ‘Scottish’ media would dearly love. “But it’s a fundamental rule of business, that – like the London-based ‘mainstream’ ‘Scottish’ media – if you insist on telling half your readers (or half of

Edinburgh West is one of the top five marginal seats in Scotland in next week’s British parliamentary elections. But today Mark R Whittet, Leader of Scotland’s Independence Referendum Party – a local resident who is standing for election in Edinburgh West – said: “Where are Sturgeon, Davidson, Dugdale and Rennie, the leaders of the SNP and London based Unionist parties? “There’s been no sign of them here in Edinburgh West.
